I hope that you are enjoying the summer, whether it be continuing your studies, research, or creative activities on campus, traveling or doing fieldwork abroad, participating in an internship experience or finding some time to relax and recharge.
This month’s newsletter is brief and includes announcements of professional development opportunities both here at IU and elsewhere for graduate students and postdocs, as well as grant proposal writing bootcamps sponsored by our excellent Grad Grants Center. Further information is below.
Our inaugural administration of the gradSERU survey will come to close this Friday, May 17, at midnight! Thank you to all who have completed the survey and if you have not yet, please consider doing so. We would like input from all graduate students in this important biennial survey of the graduate student experience at IUB.
Finally, regardless of where you are this summer, remember that you still have access to virtual health and well-being support services though our new contract with TimelyCare.
We will have at least one or two more newsletters before fall, but in the meantime, I wish you a productive and rejuvenating summer!
Best,
David Daleke Dean, IUB Graduate School |
