One.iu
One.IU was created to bring a modern app store experience to finding what you need at IU. With One.IU, you search for what you want to do and click to launch it.
Canvas
Developed by Instructure, Inc., Canvas is IU’s learning management system (LMS). Canvas includes most of the standard tools found in open source and commercial management systems (assignments, discussions, announcements, quizzes, syllabus, etc.) as well as enhanced tools and features for communication, collaboration, and assessment, including real-time web conferencing, a multimedia recorder, a Google Docs integration, outcomes and rubrics, and course analytics.
All IU students, faculty, and staff can log into Canvas using their IU credentials or an IU Guest account. You can access Canvas at IU from a web browser (on a computer, smartphone, or tablet) or via the mobile apps distributed by Instructure.
University Information Technology Systems
University Information Technology Systems (UITS) is IU’s key information technology resource. UITS provides 24/7 technical support, offers training and workshops, and manages security to keep your information safe. UITS also powers IU’s high-speed wireless Internet and maintains the thousands of computers available in the Student Technology Centers across campus. Go to UITS »
IU Libraries
The IU Libraries make thousands of ebooks and millions of electronic journal articles available, along with millions of print books and archival collections in both print and digital formats. More than that, though, the library offers expertise. Subject librarians, many holding PhDs in their subject areas, can meet with you to discuss your research and direct you to resources you might be unaware of. Assistance with copyright, open access, maps/GIS, digital humanities, and data management. IUware
With IUware, you have hundreds of the latest programs available for download at no cost or for purchase at a significantly reduced cost. These programs include operating systems, office tools, design and production software, and more.
IU Bookstore
Each Indiana University campus has an official campus bookstore where you can purchase new and used textbooks, course packets, and other materials such as pens, notebooks, and study aids. Most bookstore locations also sell software. (Textbooks and course packets are also available at various commercial retailers locally and online.).
