The Lauren Robel Bicentennial Fellowship provides funding to students from select counties in Indiana pursuing graduate education at Indiana University. Preference will be given to former Lauren Robel Bicentennial Undergraduate Scholarship recipients.

Award Value
This is a single-year award, in the form of a stipend, health insurance and a 30-hour fee remission (at the current Graduate School rate) for the upcoming year. The number of awards will vary based on the availability of funds.
The successful applicants may use the stipend funds for living expenses or any other expense related to the cost of attendance.
Note: The award must be used for the year it is awarded. A recipient cannot place this award into a "reserve status" for use in a future year.
Eligibility
- Open to both current and newly admitted graduate or professional program students
- must enroll full-time at Indiana University Bloomington
- must be a resident of one of the following counties in Indiana:
Adams, Benton, Blackford, Carroll, Crawford, Fountain, Fulton, Jay, Jennings, Martin, Newton, Ohio, Parke, Pike, Pulaski, Randolph, Rush, Scott, Starke, Sullivan, Switzerland, Tipton, Union, Vermillion, Warren
Application Process
Applications for the Robel Graduate Fellowship are to be made directly by the applicant to the IU Graduate School Bloomington.

Upload a personal statement describing the applicant’s academic goals
- Either an unofficial transcript for all graduate work at Indiana University Bloomington if a currently enrolled student or a brief letter from the admitting department verifying that the student has been offered admission.
Upload a curriculum vitae/resume
Provide the username for 2 individuals who will provide a letter of recommendation addressing the candidate’s strengths and suitability for the award. Please inform the referrers that they will receive an email from IU Graduate School Bloomington with the subject "Lauren Robel Bicentennial Graduate Fellowship".
