Future Faculty Teaching Fellowship

Future Faculty Teaching Fellowship Program

The Future Faculty Teaching Fellowship (FFTF) program at Indiana University provides advanced Ph.D. and M.F.A. students opportunities to observe and experience faculty responsibilities and faculty life at a variety of academic institutions. Fellows teach a full academic year at campuses throughout Indiana.

The FFTF Program began in 1998 and was inspired by the Preparing Future Faculty (PFF) movement launched in 1993. The IU Future Faculty Teaching Fellowship program fulfills the core features of PFF: addressing the full scope of faculty responsibilities and roles; mentors that provide feedback on fellow research, teaching, and services activities; and meeting these goals through a 'cluster' of institutions.
