International Summer Undergraduate Research Program - IU-ISURP

Through the Indiana University-International Summer Undergraduate Research Program, IU-ISURP, launched in 2010, students in STEM fields can study at IU for 8 weeks in the summer to gain hands-on research experience.

IU-ISURP is an academic and research partnership between Indiana University and multiple international universities, Tsinghua University in China and Ewha Womans University and Sungkyunkwan University in Korea, which promotes and develops the science, technology, and math (STEM) programs at Indiana University.

The IU-ISURP vision is to make a connection and form new relationships between Indiana University and these high performing international universities and their students.

The Summer program consists of:

  • 8 weeks of lab research at Indiana University, Bloomington campus
  • Room and board provided by Indiana University
  • Cultural events
  • Poster presentations at the conclusion of research
