The Lauren Robel Bicentennial Fellowship provides funding to students from select counties in Indiana pursuing graduate education at Indiana University. Preference will be given to former Lauren Robel Bicentennial Undergraduate Scholarship recipients.

Award Value
This is a single-year award, in the form of a stipend for the upcoming year. The number of awards will vary based on the availability of funds.
The successful applicants may use these funds for living expenses or any other expense related to the cost of attendance .
A fee remission is not included, but the enrolling school is encouraged to provide a 30-credit fee remission.
Note: The award must be used for the year it is awarded. A recipient cannot place this award into a "reserve status" for use in a future year.
- Open to both current and newly admitted graduate or professional program students
- must enroll at Indiana University Bloomington

- Completion of the Lauren Robel Fellowship Application Form
- A personal statement describing the applicant’s academic goals (upload PDF)
- Curriculum vitae/resume (upload PDF)
- Two letters of recommendation that address the candidate’s strengths and suitability for the award, sent by email to ugsawrd@iu.edu from the recommender with the subject line: “Robel Fellowship – [applicant’s full name]”
- Either an unofficial transcript for all graduate work at Indiana University Bloomington if a currently enrolled student or a brief letter from the admitting department verifying that the student has been offered admission
