On August 30, 2018, a total of 125 graduates students, faculty, and administrators attend. Student had the opportunity to build a cohort of support with new and returning graduate students, network with a community of scholars and professional who will share valuable campus resources, and learn about other campus events and initiatives for diverse graduate students. This dinner created an environment to provide feedback on diversity and inclusion initiatives for graduate students.
On August 29, 2019, we hosted the 2nd Annual Graduate Diversity Networking Dinner with a total of 198 graduates students, faculty, and administrators in attendance. First year diverse graduate students from all fields and disciplines were invited to attend this networking reception with a catered dinner. Vice President and Dean Wimbush provided a welcome and 30 diversity fellowship recipients were recognized. Resource fair participants included student organizations, diversity offices, student life, and culture centers.
