I am working towards my PhD in Hispanic Linguistics
Why did you choose graduate school at IU Bloomington?
Aside from being one of the top programs in my field, I fell in love with Bloomington's charm. Bloomington offers a more tranquil living situation in comparison to big cities.
What's been your favorite academic accomplishment since you've been here?
Passing my qualifying exams.
What do you enjoy most about life in Bloomington?
What I enjoy the most about life in Bloomington is all the people that I have had the opportunity to meet. I believe that the friends I have made in my department and outside my department have made my time in Bloomington much more enjoyable. Whether we are working together on campus or going hiking in the various state parks around Bloomington, or taking advantage of the on-campus activities like movies or theater performances the friends I have made here have made grad school much more enjoyable.
