Why did you choose graduate school at IU Bloomington?

I chose IU because of its research prowess; I knew the institution could Forster my growth as a scholar.
What's been your favorite academic accomplishment since you've been here?
- Thus far, my favorite academic accomplishment since I've been at IU is my acceptance as a presenter for the the National Council for Black Studies' 2019 national conference. I hope to achieve many similar honors going forward.
What do you enjoy most about life in Bloomington?
- I really enjoy visiting and studying at the Neal Marshall Black Cultural Center library! It is a quiet and intimate space, with a great repository of resources surrounding Black life. The library also has a wealth of information about other people and culture around the world!
