Four Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP),
  • CUNY/Michigan Alliance (SBES)
  • Great Lakes Alliances for Social & Behavioral Sciences (SBES)
  • Michigan AGEP Alliance (STEM)
  • Midwest Crossroads Alliance (STEM)
have combined resources to present the first annual Mega Midwest AGEP Conference. AGEP students from participating alliances will come together for 3 days of professional development and networking. Graduate students at all stages of study, whether first year or about to graduate, will be able chose between a wide variety of workshops and presentations while interacting with peers from 14 major universities.

A recruiting fair to present opportunities for postdoctoral and faculty positions will also be part of the conference. To maximize the interaction between students and recruiters, recruiting tables will be open through out the conference and recruiters are encouraged to participate in conference activities.

Workshops and presentations will also be offered for AGEP faculty and staff to encourage professional development, idea exchanges and inter-Alliance networking.
